Bangalore-based Pace Power Systems has acquired the entire business of GE (General Electric) Power Electronics India, which provides energy management solutions to telecom tower companies and telecom operators.

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based Pace Power Systems has acquired the entire of GE (General Electric) Power Electronics India, which provides energy management solutions to telecom tower companies and Telecom Operates.

Pace Power also gets the rights to use GE's Lineage Power brand in some of its areas of operation. The companies declined to disclose the value of the deal.

Pace is an over Rs 300 crore company, with 2,400 employees. The acquisition marks a consolidation in the Indian market for energy management solutions for telecom towers, where the major players are Pace, GE, Emerson, Delta and Eltek.
